Welcome to the Clinical Trial Support Site of the EAES Research Committee!

The EAES as a scientific society should take a leading role in the development and evaluation of endoscopic surgery. During the last years it became apparent that there is still weak evidence in several fields of endoscopic surgery.
This is a request to all members of the EAES to perform more high-quality clinical trials and / or provide patients for multicenter trials.

The EAES Research Committee has therefore decided to foster the development and performance of clinical trials by providing support in the process of development from a study idea to a full study protocol.

The Principal Investigator (PI) of the study will be the person who submitted the trial idea.
The whole process will be transparent to the Research Committee.
